As a part of a complete facility renovation and new additions to the 1960’s high school, the school district undertook a thorough renovation and upgrading of the theatre. Originally seating 1200, it was too large for the school. Extremely poor acoustics, inadequate sightlines, and failing electrical infrastructure led to a complete renovation. We restructured the entire seating to reduce the seating to 700 and improve sightlines. New lighting and sound control rooms were added at the rear of the auditorium. Because of the limited height and wingspace, WDG motorized the stage electrics for safety and ease of use. New catwalks and lighting systems were added to create a fully functional modern multi–use theatre space for school and community uses.
